Key purpose of the role:

The Group Technology Director is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy of Asia Strategic Holdings Group. This position ensures that the Group adopts scalable, cost-effective, and innovative system solutions that align with business objectives, drive efficiency, and support long-term growth. The role involves leading digital transformation initiatives, optimizing system processes, and ensuring seamless integration of technologies across all business units. A critical focus is placed on data governance, cybersecurity, and business intelligence, ensuring that data is secure, accessible, and leveraged for strategic decision-making. The Group Technology Director will work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to enhance the organization's technology infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and digital innovation roadmap across all operations.

1. Software technology strategy

· Engage with the key business stakeholders within the ASIA Group and identify the key technology needs to support the organization’s operations and drive performance

· Lead the innovation discussions across the ASIA Group and provide guidance on the realistic possibilities offered by technology to enable operational efficiency for the organization

· Align with ASIA Group COO on the technology priorities and develop a quarterly and annual technology roadmap adapted to short-term and long-term objectives of the organization

· Enable scalability by leveraging technology platforms across Business Units when relevant and drive efficiency through system integration across the ASIA Group

2. Technology ecosystem innovation, design, configuration and deployment

· Map and manage the various technology ecosystems across the Group through architecture diagrams and IT audits

· Identify technology gaps in the ecosystem and advise key stakeholders accordingly with clear business cases, including ROI analysis, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps

· Conduct internal research to source technology solutions that are scalable, sustainable and cost effective in order to drive innovation and efficiency

· Lead the vendor selection process from start to finish, accounting for compliance, cost-effectiveness, security standards, and data privacy, and manage license renewals

· Build teams and use best practice for documentation for system build designs and ensure effective archiving of the documentation for easy reference by the management or authorized business users

· Lead the project management of the various system rollouts, including user training programs, and ensure compliance between designs and the system configuration

· Continuously improve processes and procedures through automation and AI-driven analitics

3. Analytics operations and services

· Deploy and manage a top-tier Analytics capability for the ASIA group supported by an insightful, scalable, flexible and cost-effective Business Intelligence application

· Define data architecture requirements while ensuring data security and enabling the Analytics capabilities in compliance with data privacy laws of the jurisdictions the Group operates

· Implement data management and digital marketing retargeting capabilities

· Hire, train and manage a team supporting the business users across the ASIA Group by providing data visualization and reporting services to enable effective decision making for the business stakeholders

4. IT network architecture management and user support

· Design, document and rollout a performant and reliable IT network architecture to support the business activities of the ASIA Group

· Ensure optimal processing and bandwidth capacity across the different operations of the ASIA Group

· Establish in-house IT support operations covering all operating hours of the Group

· Establish a RBAC access management framework and manage systems access and permissions for all members of the organization

· Define the IT hardware requirements across the Group while driving cost efficiency

· Manage and track all IT hardware inventory and equipment leased to the employees or locations within the organization

· Manage and ensure the security of the Group digital ecosystem, IT infrastructure, and data, including cybersecurity governance, compliance oversight, and risk assessment

Required Competencies

· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

· 15 Years of related experience in IT management, software development, or digital transformation and 7 years of managerial experience, managing technology teams.

· Technology Leadership & Strategic Vision – Proven ability to align IT strategy with business goals, driving digital transformation and operational efficiency

· Software Engineering Mastery – Strong experience in software development, system architecture, and enterprise technology deployment

· Business Acumen & Process Optimization – Deep understanding of business processes, operational scalability, and system integrations to support growth

· Data Architecture & Analytics – Expertise in data governance, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and cloud-based analytics solutions

· Cybersecurity & IT Governance – Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks, risk management, compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, PDPA)

· Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Experience in negotiating with technology vendors and aligning IT investments with business priorities

· Agile Project Management – Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex technology rollouts, and ensuring adoption

· Communication & Leadership – Ability to influence C-suite executives and collaborate with diverse teams across different business units

· Fluent English Proficiency – Strong written and verbal communication skills for international collaboration

· High Integrity & Resilience – Trusted leader with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure
