Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Job Description
About the job:
We are seeking a talented and experienced e-Learning Developer (Localization) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in localization and eLearning content development.
- Oversee the localization of English courses into the Five Languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese) and other non-UN languages such as Romanian and Ukrainian.
- Collaborate with the Localization Team Lead to manage translation workflows.
- Integrate localized XLIFF and communication materials into eLearning courses using various authoring tools.
- Prepare translation packages from the final English versions of courses.
- Perform adjustments for right-to-left (RTL) text alignment, especially for Arabic content.
- Coordinate with technical units to conduct thorough QA checks on localized courses.
- Implement necessary amendments based on QA feedback.
- Work with external vendors to perform functional testing of localized courses.
- Publish and upload finalized courses to the Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in LMS administration or development, with expertise in OpenEdX.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Experience with e-learning content creation tools like Articulate Storyline.
- Familiarity with multilingual content workflows, including XLIFF export/import
- Experience in right-to-left language alignment and cultural adaptation.
