ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Bar Supervisor:
- Ensuring relevant items are adequately stocked.
- Ensuring that he/she schedules him/herself to be available and on duty during peak period (frequently opening & closing the operation).
- Attending various F&B meetings such as F&B department meeting, Outlet meeting etc.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To control breakage and spoilage in the outlet and keep it at a minimum
• To ensure standard recipes are followed and adhered to
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
General:
• To assist AFBM in ensuring that the bars and hotel policies & procedures and minimum standards are being properly adhered too.
• To assist the AFBM in monitoring service and F&B standard.
• To work closely with AFBM and to take corrective action when necessary.
• To carry on special projects assigned by AFBM.
• To ensure all staff are there on time and to report any issues to management immediately
Guest Service:
• To personally and frequently verify that guests in the bars are receiving the best possible service.
• To spend time in the bars and supervise bar team to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Food and Beverage Product:
• To have deep knowledge of beverage items as well as food items and be demanding and critical when it comes to beverage quality & presentation.
• To ensure that special set up (promotions etc.) in the various point of sales in due time and according to pre-established specifications.
COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To assist identify any improvements for bars
HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guests:
• To handle complaints and guests suggestions by using the proper channel of delegation and report any issue to management and record in the log book accordingly.
Employees:
• To assist in training and developing staff so that they are able to operate independently
• To assist in training program for their respective employees in co-ordination with the management
• To ensure that his/her team project professionalism and that employees are well groomed and wear impeccable uniforms at all time.
RELATIONS:
• The Bar Supervisor is directly responsible to AFBM. He/she maintains good working relationship with all employees from the F&B department and with the Directors, Managers of other departments.
• He/she maintains and develops external contacts with suppliers and other companies related to the hotel activities. He/she promotes & applies synergy, flexibility and cross training within his operation.
• Perform any other duties, which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Yêu cầu công việc
• Secondary / High school education
• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities
