Client is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative kids, home and pet products. Their portfolio includes a wide range of planters, fountains, and other garden decor items, as well as a variety of stylish home and kids products.
Job Description
The successful candidate will report to CEO and be responsible for:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers in Southeast Asia, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from supplier selection and negotiation to product development and delivery.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure new products are sourced efficiently and meet design specifications.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Work closely with other departments, including procurement, quality control, and logistics, to optimize the sourcing process.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sourcing activities and performance.
The ideal candidate should hold the following criteria:
- 10 years+ of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on garden decor and home decor products.
- Proven experience with product development and supplier management in Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam and Cambodia.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic sourcing decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Chinese speaking will be a big plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
