We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Associate Relationship Manager, Global Network Banking (GNB)

In This Role, You Will

• Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio with responsibility for cross selling and product penetration
• Pro-actively acquiring new clients that fit into the GNB framework
• Maintain regular contact / dialogue with Product Partners / Global Relationship Team (GRM/GRB) / Regional Account Manager (RAM) to explore all potential business opportunities
• Ensure proactive relationship building/customer contact plans and pipeline management for both existing and new customers.
• Monitor efficiently the credit risk associated with the portfolio within the operating and strategic plans and in accordance with credit guidelines.
• Be the First Line of Defend to protect the bank from any Financial Crime Risk, escalate all potential risks / unusual activities to the management
• Be a client centric professional and trusted advisor to lead strategic dialogues with clients through the understanding of specific business requirements and delivering creative and flexible customer solutions.
• Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice.
• Maximize customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service, providing information about products and services that suit and fulfill customers' needs. Ensure responsibility for the delivery of efficient, accurate and timely processing of clients requests and transactions
• Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful you will need

• Degree holder with a Finance, Business or Accountancy background, related discipline or other relevant qualifications.
• Proven experience in coverage banker experience: commercial lending skills including a working knowledge of Credit and Lending, Financial analysis, Trade products, Cash management products, Local regulatory environment, to name a few.
• Strong customer services, sales and result-oriented mindset.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English/Mandarin and Vietnamese.
• Knowledge of the Bank’s operational procedures and systems
• Proven experience in identifying and managing the risks (including but not limited to credit risk and financial crime risks), issues and dependencies related to the business and in decision making.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines & handle competing priorities.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
