JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Objectives:

The IT Support Intern will support to ensure
proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational
tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively
resolving end user help requests.

Job Descriptions:

Perform hands- on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, and configuring systems and applications.
Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.
Providing day- to- day support for end user requests related to desktop/laptop software/hardware, Printer, and video conferencing...;
Solve problems on time to meet their needs.
Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
Record, track, and document the help desk request problem- solving process.
Provide support/ help desk to end users toensure smoothly operation.
Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
Ensure end users satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirement:

3rd or final year
university student majoring in Information Technology, Computer
Science, or related field. The expected graduation date should be after
December 2025.
Ability to work full- time in 6 months.
Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10,11.
Must have student confirmation/letter of internship introduction from university.
Good communication (verbal & written) & customer- service skills.
Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software.
Knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
