As we continue to scale, we are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Fulfillment Specialist to join our fast-growing team. This role is integral to ensuring that our products are available to our customers without overstocking or understocking, ultimately optimizing our inventory and reducing costs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are now seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to monitor purchase orders from customers, ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently through effective management of the order fulfillment process, from order receipt through delivery to the customer. Troubleshoot and resolve order issues in a timely manner. You will work closely with suppliers/manufacturers to monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment planning and minimize out-of-stock.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for ensuring order fulfillment in an accurate and timely manner. Primary duties include:
• Inventory Management:
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple warehouses and systems.
• Monitor inbound and outbound goods and coordinate with factories, 3PLs, and logistics partners.
• Order Fulfillment:
• Coordinate fulfillment with 3PLs and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and SLA compliance.
• Monitor and resolve fulfillment exceptions, such as delays, damages, or routing issues.
• Work closely with customer service and tech teams to resolve fulfillment-related customer issues.
• Ensure that the order allocation process supports overall cost-saving strategies and aligns with inventory optimization goals.
• Sales Performance Monitoring:
• Collaborate with the sales team to make sure the inventory status and fulfillment capability meet the sales demand.
• Align stock arrival plans with observed sales performance and production timelines to ensure product availability.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Utilize data analytics tools to track and report on inventory KPIs, including stock levels, order fulfillment rates, DO's age, etc.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding inventory trends, sales plan, and supply chain improvements.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in a D2C e-commerce or retail environment.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, production, logistics, customer support) to align inventory with business objectives.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), order management systems (OMS), and other relevant software applications.
• Experience with data analysis tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting models, supply planning techniques, and inventory optimization strategies.
• Growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
