Mô tả công việc

The Sales Executive, Corporate will bring strong business to the Hotel through sourcing, negotiating and winning Corporate Sales Accounts to generate effective revenue.

The Sales Executive, Corporate will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.

2. Align working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotels’ Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.

3. Uphold the company’s Cares culture by demonstrating the Marriott Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.

4. Completely understand, implement and ensure adherence to Local Labor Laws and Sheraton policies.

5. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Department Head and Hotel Management.

6. Be responsible for designated account base.

7. Input all data in the company’s system for appropriate account management follow up and tracing.

8. Organize and report weekly sales call plan and weekly entertainment plan to Director of Sales.

9. Establish a regular core pattern for meeting with principals of target markets and conduct site inspections within the Hotel.

10. Plan and execute a series of familiarization tours for corporate travel planners and other industry personnel.

11. Ensure a focus on all Hotel facilities including food and beverage, catering and additional products such as Spa, Health Club.

12. Develop and refine a comprehensive mailing list for the above mentioned.

13. Develop and maintain contact with the above mentioned.

14. Work towards monthly budgets and report progress each 2 weeks against targets in the sales meetings.

15. Sign guests to relevant reward/ Bonvoy programs.

16. Maintain regular contact with the Marriott Sales offices where appropriate submit sales leads within the Marriott network.

17. Assist in developing and implementation direct mail campaigns.

18. Learn to read the marketing worksheets with an understanding of the budget the Hotel is working towards achieving in all rooms market segments.

19. Demonstrate working knowledge of all tasks within your area of responsibility.

20. Monitor guest / clients services and operational requirements in order to identify short falls in the operation.

21. Display creativity and initiative.

22. Co-operate with other sections and departments.

23. Ensure that all equipment is functioning and serviced regularly.

24. Ensure associates to fill out a maintenance request form and send directly to Maintenance Section for all repairs and servicing.

25. Develop an awareness of, and appreciation for, the richness of the cultural diversity of your clients, staff and location.

26. Develop an awareness of local service and facilities.

27. Identify opportunities for value added services to increase sales profitability and anticipate client needs.

28. Demonstrate effective selling techniques in promoting hotel products and services.

29. Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skill.

30. Ensure guest comments are recorded in guest history record and acted on when appropriate.

31. Monitor account activity and make adjustments when necessary.

32. Implement cost saving methods for the department in line with corporate policy.

33. Negotiate contracts only with approved suppliers as per corporate management policy and procedures.

34. Seek opportunities to continually improve client service.

35. Monitor all product and performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not being met.

36. Act on potential client complaints and report to appropriate personnel.

37. Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.

38. Analyses reports and make recommendations.

39. Ensure files, correspondence and other relevant business documentation are maintained.

40. Utilize computer applications to perform the tasks required.

Client Satisfaction

1. Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful and respectful client communication, ensuring precise and effective information transfer.

2. Address client queries within 24 hours of initial contact.

3. Ensure recovery calls are dealt with in an appropriate manner.
