In this role, you will be instrumental in Exterior Department, using your skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control, VINFAST's suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive all Exterior Engineering work on future model programs to meet VINFAST Engineering Requirements and product development timing.
• Support established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies for the department
• Establish and maintain the Exterior organization efficiency at each levels (dismiss and hire new staff)
• Find and implement ways to improve cost-efficiency
• Provide technical guidance to top management for strategic decisions
• Coach/train and develop the team to transition to being full capable engineering team
• Inspire and lead the team using VINFAST DNA behaviors
• Report to top management – present budgets and plans
• Implement best practice engineering methods
• Conduct performance reviews

Job Requirements

• 15+ years experience in automotive or related industries
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering)
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams or departments with in-depth knowledge in Exterior engineering
• Demonstrated agility in matrixed organizations and teams
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Highly organized with strong organizational skills
• Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and key suppliers
• Motivational skills to inspire team members and succeed in multi-national relationships
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills
• High degree of resilience and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations using a logical, data-driven approach
• Accountable for delivery and project success
