The duties and responsibilities of Data Center Administrator include but is not limited to: ​

• Monitoring and evaluating system performance and making recommendations for upgrades;
• Manage, operate and maintain the relevant systems;
• Ensure systems are patched and updated with the latest version for both of hardware and software;
• Provide technical support to systems and users;
• Review and research new technologies in collaboration with the business requirement to facilitate more efficient installation, management, performance and support;
• Develop and manage the documentation of systems, software, and processes;
• Vendor management;
• Specify system requirements and design solutions and setup system if any.

1. Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred;
• Preferred certifications: CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, DCCA, CDCMP, DCMOP, CCNA Data center, CCNA, CCIE Data center, DCIS, DCFOM, ITIL.

2. Experiences: 

• At least 3 years working experience on IT Infrastructure and Data center administration;
• Experience in deploying, installing, configuring, operation and maintenance the data center and infrastructure of IT system.

3. Knowledge

• Very good knowledge and experience in the administration and operation of systems, networks and cloud;
• Practical knowledge in dealing with data center tiering standard design, raised floor, precision air conditioning, fire suppression, power supply, transient voltage surge suppression, grounding and ponding, structured cabling (horizontal and vertical), enviroment monitoring, access control, CCTV, data center management system,…

4. Skills

• Being able to multi-task and establish priorities;
• Good problem-solver with outstanding analytical skills;
• Maintain the composure under pressure to calmly find solutions;
• Good and solid communication skills to clearly convey information to staff.
