An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Area Sales Manager to lead sales, marketing and full operations in Vietnam. This role offers the chance to grow a high-quality design fittings brand, targeting high growth in the Vietnamese market. Working closely with the South East Asia and Asia leadership, you will have the opportunity to influence key stakeholders, strengthen collaborations with local channel partners, and establish a network of market intelligence.
What you'll do:
As an Area Sales Manager, your role will be pivotal in leading the area sales, marketing and full operations in Vietnam. You will handle daily sales enquiries from local partners and key stakeholders while also managing technical queries. Your ability to act as a brand ambassador will be crucial in this role. You will work as part of a dedicated regional team aiming for long-term growth in Vietnam. Your responsibilities will also include updating CRM systems, establishing strong relationships with local channel partners, leading annual business planning, managing brand-building activities, supporting hiring processes, and overseeing logistics.
- Handle day-to-day sales and technical enquiries from local partners and key stakeholders
- Provide regular updates on sales and market situations
- Act as a brand ambassador
- Work as part of the regional team towards achieving long-term growth for Vietnam
- Update CRM (MyXRM)
- Establish relationships with local channel partners to ensure sustainable long-term partnerships
- Lead Channel Partner annual business planning, quarterly review and regular opportunity management
- Manage brand building activities for the country
- Support Channel Partner in hiring and onboarding
- Oversee all primary logistics and service issues for the market with our CS team in Hong Kong
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Area Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales and channel partner management within luxury brands. With at least five years' experience under your belt, you are well-versed in navigating the complexities of these roles. Your proven competencies such as strategic orientation, stakeholder management, integrity, agility and managerial courage set you apart from others. Your knowledge of the Vietnam market structure is extensive, including its distribution/service network functioning. You have an excellent command of English and the local language. Furthermore, your extensive network within developers, architects, designers and hotel operators will be invaluable.
- Minimum of more than five years experience in sales and channel partner management with luxury brands
- At least three years of management experience
- Proven competencies such as strategic orientation, stakeholder management, integrity, agility and managerial courage
- Knowledge of Vietnam market structure and distribution/service network functioning
- Good command of English and local language
- Extensive network with developers, architects, designers and hotel operators
