The successful candidate will be responsible for managing related products development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining data in various systems. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of product life cycle management.

What you'll do:
As a Merchandising Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's sourcing department. You will take charge of product development, ensuring that all related products are tracked efficiently and that samples are provided on time. Your familiarity with raw materials and constructions will enable you to negotiate effectively with vendors. In addition to this, you will collaborate closely with vendors and cross-functional teams across various locations. Your ability to resolve production issues swiftly will ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet company standards. Furthermore, your leadership skills will be crucial in coaching your team towards achieving their KPIs. Lastly, your proficiency in data maintenance across different systems will aid in managing daily activities.
- Manage related products development including market sample tracking, T&A management and providing sample options for meeting due dates.
- Collaborate with vendors, cross functional teams.
- Resolve development/production issues, ensuring on time delivery and quality to meet company requirements.
- Coach the team and lead them to achieve KPI's.
- Maintain data in different systems such as PLM, Intellimas to manage daily activities.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve vendor related issues in a timely manner.
- Hold regular meetings with cross functional teams.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Merchandising Manager position brings a wealth of experience in influencing and negotiation, coupled with a strong ability to analyse cost and other data. Your strategic thinking abilities will be key in making critical decisions that impact the business positively. Your expertise in supplier evaluation and selection, as well as compliance and ethical sourcing, will be invaluable in this role. Familiarity with product life cycle management is essential, along with experience in managing baby/childrenswear. Excellent command of written and spoken English is required. You are open-minded, possess a positive attitude, proactive and innovative.
