Manage all accounting activities of the business unit
Primary liaison with other departments in all aspects related to Accounting
Key Accountabilities:
ACCOUNTING
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and legitimacy of documents, payment papers, financial statements, insurance and liabilities.
Perform periodic reviews and reconciliations of financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
TREASURY MANAGEMENT
Oversee the settlement of revenues and expenditures and inventory the business's assets and cash flow
In charge of weekly and monthly cash flow reports
Effectively manage cash on hand and in charge of FX hedging when needed
TAXATION & COMPLIANCE
Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and advise management on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Collaborate with external advisors and regulatory bodies to address compliance-related matters.
FINANCIAL REPORTING
Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
STAFF MANAGEMENT
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
OTHERS
Provide information to lenders, investors
Other data and ad-hoc analysis as requested

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Certificate of Chief Accountant is a must
Experience:
2-3 years of working experience relevant to the Chief Accountant role
Experience in F&B industry; dealing with Tax Audit, External Audit is preferable
Work related skills:
Must be fluent in VAS and Tax Law
Good at English
Integrity, carefulness, transparency, a high sense of confidentiality, and responsibility
Soft skills:
Teamwork, Independent working and problem-solving skills
Self organize and time management
Ability to work effectively under pressure
