The Investor Relations Manager (IR) plays an essential role in managing investor confidence and supporting the company in raising capital by developing and maintaining relationships between the company and the investor community, including shareholders, financial analysts, and financial institutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with investors, shareholders, financial institutions, and analysts through meetings and events to ensure they have sufficient information for investment decisions regarding MCH.
- Prepare quarterly business performance reports, press releases, presentation materials, and FAQs for the leadership team to align on investment narratives and respond to investor inquiries.
- Plan and coordinate tours and meetings with investors to showcase MCH's operations and capabilities.
- Support shareholder activities related to IPOs and fundraising projects.
- Prepare annual reports and assist in organizing the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to help shareholders understand the company's strategy and operations.
- Develop content and manage shareholder relationships throughout the AGM.
- Collaborate with Communications and Finance departments to draft and distribute press releases about business results and significant news.
- Work with Communications to create IR strategies that enhance the company’s market image.
- Conduct financial analyses, monitor business performance metrics, and align with investor expectations to provide insights on the company’s value.
- Prepare regular reports on financial performance for investors and management.
- Collaborate with finance departments on fundraising materials and evaluate financial proposals from investors.
- Support for Financial Strategy (30%):
- Analyze market data from third parties (Nielsen) and internal sources to identify industry trends and recommend improvements for the Board of Directors (BOD).
- Support the CFO in coordinating Transformation projects and preparing materials for weekly BOD meetings.
