Role and Responsibilities
Live Payments is seeking a talented, experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing multi-national team. The Business Intelligence Analyst will transform data into insights that drive business value through the use of data analytics, data visualisation, and data modelling techniques and technologies.
Core duties include:
Analyse collected data and put it into a format others can easily interpret.
Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
Interpreting data trends and patterns as they relate to the organisation.
Preparing reports for organisational leadership to use in a business setting.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Collaborating with other team members, including engineers and programmers, to determine areas of improvement in relation to data.
Proactively analyse data to answer critical questions for stakeholders, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.Key skills
Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualisation.
Strong SQL or Excel skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
Strong knowledge of business intelligence platforms, developing and updating BI reports, and communicating actionable insights to improve corporate decision-making.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc).
Experience using data visualisation tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to create compelling visualisations and reports
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
Excellent English skills encompassing writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams (both internal and external).
Qualifications and experience
University Degree Qualified in a Tech or Business field.
3-4 years of data analysis experience.
IELTS 6.0 or equivalent would be beneficial.
Experience working in the payments and financial services industries.Fully social insurance according to Vietnam Labor Law
