DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Assist in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objective are achieved.
2. Maintain contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications.
3. Create and implement special programmers to achieve greater productivity through: increasing average rate/ increasing occupancy/ increasing business volume during difficult periods/ increasing local food and beverage banqueting sales.
4. Oversee the selling and servicing of group business.
5. Do research on competition.
6. Meet with guests from major producers / organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Establish and continuously update mailing lists.
8. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for seeking account and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and develop sales for the hotel.
9. Develop and maintain database of major markets, trace files for direct contact and/or mailings.
10. Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage.
11. Collect information/ requests from guests and keep the team updated for revision of sales contracts and Banquet Event Orders.
12. Coordinate Banquet Operations team and Banquet Kitchen to ensure service is fully delivered to guests of wedding events or conventions.
13. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, etc.
14. Maintain close liaison with other departments to ensure the productive departmental performance and budget.
15. Work collaboratively with off-company sales channels (e.g., Event Booking Center, Market Sales, Strategic Accounts) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
16. Present products and show the guests around the venues upon request.
17. Maintain a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standard and procedure to oversee their implementation.
18. Prepare detailed introduction induction program for new staff.
19. Coach, counsel staff and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
20. Perform any other related tasks or duties assigned by Director of Convention and by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. At least 5 years as a Security Supervisor at a scalable four or five star hotel/ resort.
2. College diploma in any related discipline, experience with national defense/army preferred.
3. Leadership and management skills.
4. Solid experience with planning for emergencies, handling disturbances and investigating related security cases.
5. Abilities of taking initiative, leadership, problem solving, decision making, prioritizing, delegating, training and developing subordinates, producing results, (results-oriented) and goal setting.
6. Good command of English.
