Job Purpose
To liaise with stake holders to develop and implement category plan and strategic sourcing.
To handle company procurement requests following the defined strategic sourcing to ensure the best values are delivered to the Company and risks to the Company are minimized /mitigated through effective contractual and service level agreement, whilst achieving cost savings (cost avoidance and cost reduction) for Prudential.
To drive responsible sourcing for Prudential and locally implement sustainability program in line with Group strategies.

Qualification:
Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree (Law/Commerce/Economics/Foreign Trade/Finance)

Job Responsibilities
Key job responsibilities assigned to this position are:
- Develop category plan and partner with the business stakeholders to understand sourcing needs
- Highlight purchasing trends and analyze spend to management for action to be taken through new principal sourcing plans; Ensure strategic sourcing implemented;
- Establish and drive cost saving targets. Control spend and build up a culture of long-term savings for third party spend;
- Provide optimum sourcing strategy to deliver the most valuable and righteous goods and services and beyond the corporate standards
- Act as Procurement Business Partner to support business in awareness and compliance to procurement policies and procedures, third party risk governance;
- Identify new vendors as necessary and determine the optimal set of providers for goods and services;
- Manage daily operations related to in-charged categories, system process, document retention and procure-to-pay issues.
- Initiate and implement ESG programs under Sustainability strategies from Group or from BOD
- Manage stakeholders to drive sustainable and responsible sourcing for the company;
- Perform other tasks as appropriate within competence as assigned by Line Manager/ Head of Procurement or Company’s management.
- Manage to achieve the set objectives, esp. in cost effieciency and value added to business;
- Develop and implement category management plan and strategic sourcing
- Collaborate spend governance with business stakeholders
- Ensure the projects are delivered with the agreed quality on a timely manner
- Ensure all the works are strictly complied with Company’s procedures & regulation
- Partner with regional / global procurement team in big projects.
- Develop and execute Sustainability of Procurement individually and Prudential generally following to local and global strategies.
Qualification:
Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree (Law/Commerce/Economics/Foreign Trade/Finance)
Knowledge:
- Procurement and Supply chain with best practices and worldwide standards.
- Broad and deep technical knowledge of commodity and product including specification, market trends and supply base, especially for Marketing (below-the-line), Promotional items and IT.
Experiences:
Mandatory: At least 3 years of experience at an independent level or as a Business Partner
Advantage:
- Prior experience of Procurement systems, especially global platforms like SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa.
- Prior experience of Procurement in financial industry / in MNCs
- Proven background about Sustainability, ESG, Kaizen, etc.

- Năm 1995, thành lập văn phòng đại diện Công ty Bảo hiểm Nhân thọ Prudential tại Hà Nội
- Năm 1997, khai trương văn phòng đại diện thứ hai tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
- Năm 1999, chính thức thành lập công ty Bảo hiểm Nhân thọ Prudential Việt Nam
- Năm 2000, kỷ niệm Hợp đồng Bảo hiểm cho khách hàng thứ 100.000 chỉ sau 1 năm hoạt động.
- Năm 2001, tăng vốn đầu tư lên 40 triệu USD cam kết đầu tư lâu dài tại Việt Nam
- Năm 2002, hoàn thành sứ mệnh phục vụ 1.000.000 khách hàng và thành lập văn phòng Tổng đại lý Bảo hiểm nhân thọ đầu tiên tại Long An.
- Năm 2004, trở thành công ty bảo hiểm nhân thọ dẫn đầu tại thị trường Việt Nam với thị phần cao nhất.
- Năm 2005, trao trả quyền lợi đáo hạn cho khách hàng đầu tiên. Tiếp đó, thành lập Công ty TNHH Quản lý Quỹ Eastspring Investment.

- Năm 2008, chính thức đưa ra thị trường sản phẩm Prulink - Phú - Bảo Gia Đầu tư tăng vốn đầu tư lên 75 triệu USD.
- Năm 2009, là công ty Bảo hiểm nước ngoài đầu tiên tại Việt Nam hoạt động trên khắp 63 tỉnh thành cả nước và vinh dự được nhận bằng khen danh dự của Thủ tướng Chính phủ và Ủy ban Nhân dân TP.HCM

- Năm 2016, cam kết đầu tư 6000 tỷ đồng vào trái phiếu chính phủ với kỳ hạn lên đến 30 năm. Cùng năm đó, triển khai ePrudential - kênh mua bảo hiểm nhân thọ trực tuyến
- Năm 2017, tổng mệnh giá trái phiếu chính phủ kỳ hạn 30 năm đã đầu tư là 14.020 tỷ đồng.
- Năm 2018, tăng vốn điều lệ lên 4.128 tỷ đồng, đạt mức đầu tư lớn nhất trong số các doanh nghiệp bảo hiểm nhân thọ tại Việt Nam với tổng vốn đầu tư vào nền kinh tế của Prudential năm 2017 đạt 66.241 tỷ đồng. Đồng thời, tổng mệnh giá trái phiếu chính phủ (kỳ hạn 20 năm và 30 năm) đã đầu tư đạt 62.667 tỷ đồng vào cuối năm 2018.
- Năm 2019, tiếp tục mở rộng mạng lưới đối tác bancassurance. nâng tổng số ngân hàng đối tác hiện tại lên 8 ngân hàng trong và ngoài nước. Công ty cho ra mắt hai sản phẩm Bảo Hiểm Liên Kết Chung là PRU-BẢO VỆ TỐI ƯU và PRU-CHỦ ĐỘNG CUỘC SỐNG. Đồng thời, ra mắt cam kết thương hiệu mới “Lắng nghe. Thấu hiểu. Hành động.” - nhấn mạnh tính kết nối nhân văn, sự đơn giản, sáng tạo trong mọi hoạt động hướng đến khách hàng trong hiện tại và tương lai. Kỷ niệm chặng đường 20 năm đồng hành cùng cuộc sống với cam kết “Hành động vì một cộng đồng người Việt khỏe mạnh và thịnh vượng".
