They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supply Chain Environmental Management to join their Sustainability Department in Ho Chi Minh. What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Environmental Management, your role will be pivotal in driving environmental sustainability within our client's supply chain. You will be responsible for managing all environmental aspects, from raw material procurement to factory production. Your expertise will guide the implementation of projects and strategies with global suppliers, ensuring that they align with the company's commitment to creating the world's most environmentally responsible and transparent supply chain. Your efforts will contribute significantly towards achieving key sustainability targets, including carbon neutrality by 2050.

• Manage environmental aspects of the supply chain from raw material procurement to factory production
• Lead projects and implement strategies with global suppliers
• Work towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions from manufacturing by 2030
• Promote coal phase out and use of renewable energy in factories
• Introduce environmental management Higg FEM project to suppliers
• Ensure chemical management at factories and verify wastewater test results
• Implement waste management guidelines at factories
• Work towards water reduction at factories by following target 10% per unit by 2025
• Establish traceability management system in supply chains

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Supply Chain Environmental Management Officer role brings a wealth of experience in the Sustainability field, ideally within the Apparel Brand/Manufactures or Environmental Topics sector. You possess excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese, allowing you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Your strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities enable you to navigate complex situations with ease. Furthermore, your ability to work independently and support senior team members demonstrates your commitment and dedication.

• At least 5 years' experience in Sustainability field, preferably related to Apparel Brand/Manufactures or Environmental Topics
• University/College degree in Environmental related major (Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management) or Apparel Industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to suggest solutions spontaneously and work independently to support seniors
• Ability to summarize complex situations/data into easily understandable materials
