Are you a skilled Automation Tester with a passion for ensuring software quality? We have an exciting opportunity in Ho Chi Minh City for an Automation Tester to join our newly forming team, dedicated to improve and extend the coverage of our suite of unit, functional and integration tests. Our core banking system manages a diverse range of assets and plays a crucial role in our customers' banking services by integrating with various tools such as KYC checks and personal financial management solutions, providing immediate insight and control to both customers and banks. As part of the international development team, with team members in Iceland, The Netherlands, and Vietnam, you will participate in daily stand-up meetings, perform manual and automated tests, help triage bug reports and have regular contact with key users of our software.
Role and responsibilities:
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Create a QA strategy for a portfolio of web applications and RESTful API’s.
- Develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests.
- Work with developers, other QA's, project managers to plan and execute manual and automated tests.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Solution Architect, and other team members.
- Proficiency in performing functional and regression tests manually to validate software functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Vietnam, Iceland and the Netherlands to deliver exceptional products.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a tester with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in performing functional and regression tests manually to validate software functionality.
- Familiarity with Cypress test framework.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like ReadyAPI and Pact.js
- Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's level degree in a field that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree.
- 3+ years of minimum experience in technical software testing. Minimum intermediate level.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and quality assurance principles.
- Independent work ethic with the ability to take ownership of testing efforts.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Lịch sử thành lập
- Năm 1996, Ngân hàng VIB vừa thành lập đã đạt được số vốn điều lệ lên đến 5.644 tỷ đồng.
- Năm 2006, triển khai thành công Dự án Hiện đại hóa Công nghệ Ngân hàng. Tăng vốn điều lệ lên hơn 1.000 tỷ đồng. Nhận bằng khen của Thống đốc Ngân hàng Nhà nước.
- Năm 2007, tăng vốn điều lệ lên 2.000 tỷ đồng.
- Năm 2008, được độc giả báo Sài Gòn Tiếp thị bình chọn là doanh nghiệp có "Dịch vụ ngân hàng bán lẻ được hài lòng nhất năm 2008".
- Năm 2009, ký thỏa thuận hợp tác toàn diện với ngân hàng Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA).
- Năm 2010, ngân hàng Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) – ngân hàng hàng đầu của Úc đã chính thức trở thành cổ đông chiến lược của VIB với tỷ lệ sở hữu cổ phần ban đầu là 15%. Tăng vốn điều lệ lên 4.000 tỷ đồng.
- Năm 2016, Giải thưởng “Ngân hàng Tài trợ Thương mại Tốt nhất khu vực Đông Á – Thái Bình Dương” từ IFC
- Năm 2017, 564.442.500 cổ phiếu VIB chính thức giao dịch trên thị trường chứng khoán tập trung (UpCom) từ ngày 9/1/2017
- Năm 2018, Ngân hàng Nhà nước quyết định cho VIB áp dụng chính thức Basel II
- Năm 2019, VIB được chấp thuận tăng vốn điều lệ lên trên 9.245 tỷ đồng
- Năm 2020, VIB được IFC nâng hạn mức tài trợ thương mại lên 144 triệu USD
- Năm 2022, VIB đặt kế hoạch tăng vốn điều lệ lên trên 21.000 tỷ đồng, tăng 35,7%. VIB đưa thương hiệu và dịch vụ ngân hàng đến gần hơn với người trẻ qua The Masked Singer
