Ho Chi Minh City - Hospitality, F&B and Real Estate

The Legal Manager is responsible for overseeing all legal functions within the hospitality group and for new F&B and Real Estate projects ensuring compliance with labor laws and the well-being of employees. This role involves supporting for HR aspects such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration and compliance.

What you will do:

• Ensure the Group's operations comply with local, state and other relevant set of Labor laws
• Working with the Labor authorities and obtain the required licenses
• Keep track and updated on Employment regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and maintain accurate legal documentation for employee records, including contracts and performance evaluations.
• Serve as a mediator for legal concerns and conflict resolution, promoting a respectful and communicative workplace environment.
• Handle disciplinary measures with legal guidelines when required.
• Oversee performance management systems, facilitating reviews and feedback to meet legal standards.
• Evaluate compensation practices and manage benefits programs to ensure equitable pay and compliance with wage laws.
• Promote health and safety by implementing wellness programs and ensuring staff are knowledgeable about safety protocols and regulations

What you will bring:

• Background in Law with at least 5 years of Legal practice
• Previous experience in Law Firm and in-house for the Hospitality or Real Estate industry (F&B is also acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and previous support for HR management is a plus
• Fast-paced and pro-active mindset to work in demanding environment
• Ability to meet tight dealines with limited resources.
• Full proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
