As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's business forward. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while also identifying and targeting potential new clients. You will be expected to record all relevant customer, competitor, and market information in the CRM system, as well as prepare and follow up on quotations and samples. In addition, you will negotiate pricing with customers, including contract negotiations, in agreement with the Managing Director. Your role will also involve collaborating with Product Management on price increases or changes in delivery volume when necessary. Furthermore, you will monitor the usage/fulfilling of bonus agreements and drive the strategy for sales growth for dedicated customers according to their classification.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers while identifying potential new clients
- Record customer, competitor & market related information in CRM system
- Develop a strong pipeline of new Opportunities capable of delivering net growth into the sales area
- Prepare and follow up quotations & samples
- Negotiate pricing with customers including contract negotiations
- Collaborate with Product Management on price increases or changes in delivery volume when necessary
- Monitor usage/fulfilling of bonus (customer rebate) agreements
- Drive strategy for sales growth for dedicated customers according to customer classification
- Assess the customer creditworthiness in line with credit control guidance
- Handle product complaints ensuring relevant information is gathered prior to QM handling
