Role: SAP OTC PRODUCT OWNER
Qualification:
- More than 10 years of experience on SAP with strong focus in SAP Sales & Distribution, Transportation and Credit Management (FSCM)
- Knowledge on SD integration with other modules like Vistex for Pricing, FICO, MM and EWM
- At least 3 SAP full cycle SAP implementations/roll-out experience, and production support
- Analytical, resourceful and can drive requirements gathering, process and solution presentation and discussion with internal teams and business stakeholders
- ABAP skills for functional is an advantage
- Knowledge on Agile methodology is an advantage but not required
Job Description:
The SAP OTC Product Owner will work with business users to define requirements through research and fact-finding, and will develop or modify moderately complex design, ensuring changes do not impact existing system functionality. He/she will provide support and enhancements to existing functionality within the various system environments which may include design and implementation of new functionality related to OTC-related SAP modules – Sales & Distribution, LE – Transportation, Credit Management and Vistex Data Maintenance for Pricing. This also includes interacting with end-users to understand requirements, prototyping, functional specification development, data mapping and setting of configuration tables, documenting configuration and end-user procedures, and conducting end-user training. His/Her major responsibilities are working on support incidents, change requests and approved prioritized enhancements. He/She should follow existing change management procedures. He/She should inform his/her manager through periodic status reports detailing the progress of all on-going projects. He/She is responsible for completing assignments in an accurate, timely and prioritized basis. He/She is capable to accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and schedules work accordingly.
For SAP OTC projects and implementations, he/she participates in and is responsible for driving and coordinating the collection of business requirements from the end-user community. He/She identifies solutions that meet these needs and will also identify potential issues delivering on business requirements, bringing those issues to the attention of their supervisor and driving to resolution. He/She works with IT and end-users to map new business processes on the SAP system. He/She leads in the definition of the new processes and develops prototypes in a test environment to simulate the new process to produce a functional system which is consistent with the requirements specified by the client. He/She is responsible for developing test scenarios and subsequent implementation of test plans documenting test results. He/She develops functional specifications and assists programmers with testing the functionality of program. He/She is responsible for ensuring that successfully tested changes are transferred to the production environment following the appropriate transfer process. He/She ensures results obtained satisfy client requirements and that the new business processes operate effectively and efficiently in the integrated system environment. He/She obtains written approval from client that change is completed to their satisfaction. He/She is responsible for preparing and maintaining required documentation, including, but not limited to configuration documentation, business procedures, and training documentation. He/She is responsible for undertaking small integration projects that cross functional areas. He/She participates in medium to large projects that cross functional areas in roles relating to configuration of defined requirements and testing.
For SAP OTC Application Support, He/She is capable of troubleshooting issues and provides appropriate resolutions on the production environment. He/She is handling user inquiries and answering how-to questions. He/She is responsible for completing routine and maintenance requests. He/She tracks, resolves and closes service tickets per agreed service level agreements
