As an R&D Technician at FrieslandCampina, you will play a key role in shaping the future of food innovation. You’ll prepare and execute experiments, analyze results, and maintain R&D equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations within safety and quality guidelines. Your work will part of our developers in driving new product development, optimizing formulations, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Key Objectives:

Prepare and execute experiments and tests, analyse results and maintain all R&D equipment and systems, within test set-up and health and safety guidelines and procedures, in order to contribute to the realisation of R&D projects and objectives and to optimally support researchers and developers in the execution of their job.

What We Ask

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (Food technology, Food Engineering or Food science)
• Experience: At least 2 years experience
• Skills:
• Product development, food technology knowledge
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skill & stakeholder management skill
• Detailed and careful to handle detailed lab scale/testing criteria.

Vacancy Description

• Follow Company’s regulations, including, not limited to, Food Safety & Quality, Safety – Health –Environment
• Conduct lab-scale experiments for NPD (New Product Development) projects as well as alternative-material projects
• Follow up internal taste test Supervise a lab scale for new products and product development
• Follows production trial
• Report shelf-life testing for new products and product development
• New packaging and label checking on technical information
• Make statistical overview of new products and product development
• Control file system/glass wares/equipment in lab
• Analyse samples in cooperation with QC
• Conduct evaluation for raw/pack materials as well as finished products at independent laboratory
• And other tasks as assigned by his/her superiors
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
