What you'll do:

• Direct all aspects of the finance function to ensure alignment with organisational goals and long-term strategy across multiple sites.

• Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver actionable financial insights that drive data-informed decisions and performance improvements.
• Contribute expertise to company-wide projects involving pricing strategies, investment analysis, cost optimisation, and structural changes.
• Lead initiatives to modernise and streamline financial processes through automation and system upgrades for greater efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive reporting tools and dashboards that enable effective performance tracking and accountability at all levels.
• Balance centralised control with local execution to ensure consistency while empowering branch-level responsiveness.
• Enforce robust internal controls and compliance measures throughout all locations to safeguard assets and uphold standards.
• Act as primary liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, tax authorities, and legal advisors to manage relationships effectively.
• Supervise audit processes and tax activities while strengthening overall financial governance across the organisation.

What you bring:

• Over 15 years of experience in finance roles with at least 3 years advising executive leadership within complex organisations.
• Proven track record managing finance teams of 10 or more people while fostering capability development across diverse groups.
• Solid foundation from a top-tier audit firm (ideally 3+ years with one of the Big Four), bringing best-practice methodologies into industry settings.
• Experience working within industries featuring nationwide operations such as education networks, retail chains or service providers is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated skill in unifying disparate financial systems, enhancing internal controls, and building efficient operating models for distributed units.
• Advanced proficiency in using financial systems and analytics platforms; prior leadership of digitisation or automation projects is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with mergers & acquisitions processes including due diligence reviews as well as organisational restructuring initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) alongside International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; additional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA are highly valued credentials.
• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese coupled with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
