Your role
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the University, in disciplines related to their field of expertise. Specifically, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, Masters and Graduate Diploma programs and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities. The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is also expected to actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation. The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer may be responsible for course coordination.

Key Accountabilities
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
For Higher Education roles, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by having completed PhD studies while being instructed through the medium of English, and proof of teaching in an English-speaking environment during the previous 24 months.
Work permit
All foreign employees must adhere to the requirements for obtaining a valid visa and work permit in Vietnam. These requirements are mandated by the Government and may be over and above the mandatory requirements and key selection criteria. Work permit requirements are subject to change.
RMIT Vietnam accepts zero tolerance to non-adherence of the immigration laws of Vietnam.

Key Accountabilities
- Undertake independent teaching undergraduate level courses in the Bachelor of Information Technology program. Teaching duties include writing course materials; teaching lecture, lab, and tutorial sessions; helping students; designing, conducting, and grading assessments; implementing improvements informed by course evaluation activities and student feedback.
- Undertake administration duties, which may include course coordination role.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Academic Expectations and Development Framework of RMIT Vietnam.
- PhD or equivalent relevant Doctoral qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English-speaking universities.
- Proven teaching proficiency and curriculum development in the following areas:
- Enterprise App Development
- Software Engineering Architecture & Design
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate level, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
- Ability to undertake course coordination role.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.
- Recent and sustained performance regarding student outcomes, student experience and feedback; combined with experience and skill in a range of teaching settings.
- Recognised research profile including substantial record of research outputs in high quality journals.
- Ability to operate within own discipline and cross-disciplinary/multidisciplinary teams to achieve department and University strategic outcomes.
- Ability to work with external partners, industries, organisations, and communities and can operate effectively to address complex issues or seek opportunities.

Lịch sử thành lập
- Ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần Á Châu (tên giao dịch bằng tiếng Anh: Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank), được gọi tắt là Ngân hàng Á Châu (ACB), chính thức đi vào hoạt động kinh doanh ngày 4 tháng 6 năm 1993 được do ông Nguyễn Quang Phúc đảm nhiệm chức vụ Chủ Tịch HĐQT.
- Giai đoạn 1993-1995, Hình thành ACB.
- Giai đoạn 1996-2000, Ngân hàng thương mại cổ phần đầu tiên của Việt Nam phát hành thẻ tín dụng quốc tế MasterCard và Visa; Thành lập Công ty ACBS.
- Giai đoạn 2001-2005, Xây dựng hệ thống quản lý chất lượng theo tiêu chuẩn ISO 9001:2000 trong các lĩnh vực: huy động vốn, cho vay ngắn hạn và trung dài hạn; Thanh toán quốc tế và cung ứng nguồn lực tại Hội sở; Ngân hàng Standard Charterd (SCB) ký kết thỏa thuận hỗ trợ kỹ thuật toàn diện; và trở thành cổ đông chiến lược của ACB.
- Năm 2006, Niêm yết tại Trung tâm Giao dịch Chứng khoán Hà Nội vào tháng 10/2006; Thành lập Công ty ACBL
- Năm 2007, Phát hành thêm 10 triệu cổ phiếu mệnh giá 100 tỷ đồng, với số tiền thu được là hơn 1.800 tỷ đồng
- Năm 2008, Tăng vốn điều lệ lên 6.355 tỷ đồng; Được Nhà nước Việt Nam trao hai huân chương lao động và được nhiều tạp chí tài chính có uy tín trong khu vực và trên thế giới bình chọn là ngân hàng tốt nhất Việt Nam.
- Năm 2011, Được Tổ chức QMS Australia chứng nhận hệ thống quản lý chất lượng đáp ứng yêu cầu tiêu chuẩn ISO 9001:2008 và Tổ chức Công nhận Việt Nam (Accreditation of Vietnam) công nhận năng lực thử nghiệm và hiệu chuẩn (xác định hàm lượng vàng) đáp ứng yêu cầu tiêu chuẩn ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
- Năm 2012, Sự cố tháng 8 năm 2012 đã tác động đáng kể đến hoạt động của ACB, nhưng ACB đã ứng phó tốt sự cố.
- Năm 2013, Hiệu quả hoạt động không như kỳ vọng nhưng ACB vẫn có mức độ tăng trưởng khả quan về tiền gửi khách hàng và cho vay. Nợ xấu của ACB được kiểm soát dưới mức 3%. Quy mô nhân sự cũng được tinh giản. Thực hiện lộ trình tái cơ cấu 2013 – 2015 theo quy định của NHNN
- Năm 2014, ACB nâng cấp hệ nghiệp vụ ngân hàng lõi (core banking) từ TCBS lên DNA, thay thế hệ cũ đã sử dụng 14 năm; hoàn tất việc xây dựng khung quản lý rủi ro nhằm đáp ứng đầy đủ các quy định mới về tỷ lệ đảm bảo an toàn, quy mô và hiệu quả hoạt động kinh doanh của kênh phân phối được nâng cao.
- Năm 2015, Công bố nhận diện thương hiệu mới (ngày 05 tháng 01); hoàn thành các dự án chiến lược như (i) tái cấu trúc kênh phân phối, (ii) hình thành Trung tâm Thanh toán nội địa (giai đoạn 1), (iii) hoàn thiện phương thức đánh giá hiệu quả hoạt động đơn vị và nhân viên Hội sở; đồng thời cho khởi tạo và triển khai các dự án ngân hàng giao dịch (transaction banking), ngân hàng ưu tiên (priority banking), quản lý bán hàng (customer management system), v.v.
- Năm 2016, ACB đã hoàn thành theo tiến độ nhiều hạng mục của các dự án công nghệ để hỗ trợ hoạt động kinh doanh, vận hành và quản lý hệ thống, tiêu biểu như chuyển đổi hệ thống core chứng khoán ACBS; cải tiến các chương trình CLMS, CRM, ACMS, ELM, PASS để hỗ trợ việc tinh gọn quy trình nghiệp vụ; nâng cấp hệ thống các máy ATM, trang thông tin điện tử (website) ACB, gia tăng tiện ích, dịch vụ thanh toán cho khách hàng, v.v.
- Năm 2017, ACB tiếp tục hoàn thiện chính sách, quy trình, và các hạn mức quản lý rủi ro nhằm phù hợp với quy định hiện hành của NHNN. Đạt kết quả khả quan về hoạt động vận hành và chất lượng dịch vụ khách hàng; cụ thể tăng 20% hiệu suất nhân viên và giảm 50% lỗi nghiệp vụ.
- Năm 2018, Phát hành thành công 4.400 tỷ đồng trái phiếu AAA kỳ hạn ba năm và mười năm. Xử lý, thu hồi nợ có hiệu quả, do đó thu nhập từ xử lý nợ đạt gấp bốn lần năm 2017.
- Năm 2019, Bắt đầu thực hiện Chiến lược đổi mới ACB giai đoạn 2019 – 2024 được HĐQT thông qua cuối năm 2018.
- Năm 2020, ACB chuyển sàn niêm yết từ HNX sang HOSE. ACB cũng thực hiện thành công thương vụ độc quyền bảo hiểm nhân thọ với Công ty TNHH Bảo hiểm Nhân thọ Sun Life Việt Nam (thành viên của Tập đoàn Sun Life có trụ sở chính ở Canada), có giá trị lớn.
- Năm 2021, Áp dụng công nghệ eKYC, và ra mắt ứng dụng ACB Business Application cho khách hàng doanh nghiệp, v.v. nhằm giúp khách hàng thực hiện giao dịch thanh toán thuận tiện và nhanh chóng.
- Năm 2022, ACB ra mắt thương hiệu Ngân hàng số ACB One, đánh dấu bước chuyển đổi lớn của ACB trong định hướng số hóa hoạt động kinh doanh, và tối ưu hóa trải nghiệm của khách hàng.
