This role offers the opportunity to work from home, providing state-of-the-art solutions to customers and managing wholesalers/channel partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for both technical and sales-related requirements, ensuring all needs are met.
What you'll do:
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing application engineering support and managing sales channels. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include offering state-of-the-art solutions to customers, preparing training materials, visiting sites for system reviews, supporting R&D projects, and providing comprehensive engineering support. On the sales side, you will develop and execute sales plans, engage in forecasting and demand planning, identify new business opportunities, monitor sales status, conduct product promotions, and provide after-sales support.
- Provide application supports and solutions using compressor, Cooling Controls Products and Integration Solutions
- Prepare training materials and provide technical training on product application
- Visit sites as required to review systems and diagnose problems
- Support field personnel and customers' R&D projects
- Provide engineering support which includes drawing/specification preparation, component selection, approval sheet preparation
- Develop & execute Sales plan to achieve business targets for existing channel partners
- Engage in Monthly Forecasting & Demand Planning of Sales
- Identify New Business Opportunities in HVACR segment and execute them to achieve business growth
- Monitor Sales status, follow up on market related issues regularly, develop action plans to review with supervisor
- Conduct product promotions aligned with product marketing strategy, arrange product & application training for customers
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Technical Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in both technical support and sales management. You have proven your ability to provide top-notch application supports using specific products like compressor or Cooling Controls Products. Your skills extend beyond technical knowledge; you're also adept at preparing training materials, conducting site visits for system reviews, supporting R&D projects, and providing comprehensive engineering support. On the sales side, you have a track record of developing and executing sales plans, engaging in forecasting and demand planning, identifying new business opportunities, and monitoring sales status.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics)
- 5-7 years of experience in build environment & HVACR industries
- Proven experience in technical sales management
- Strong knowledge of Copeland compressor, Cooling Controls Products and Integration Solutions
- Ability to prepare training materials and provide technical training on product application
- Experience in site visits for system reviews and problem diagnosis
- Experience in supporting field personnel and customers' R&D projects
- Proficiency in providing engineering support including drawing/specification preparation, component selection, approval sheet preparation
- Experience in developing & executing Sales plan to achieve business targets for existing channel partners
- Experience in Monthly Forecasting & Demand Planning of Sales
- Ability to identify New Business Opportunities in HVACR segment and execute them to achieve business growth
